HMH Publishing: Corporate Relocation

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Co. wanted to relocate its Orlando operations to a more efficiently designed, Class-A office space that would provide a more productive environment for its 900-plus employees. HMH was also on a short 12-month timeline. After scouring the marketplace, HMH turned to Flagler who delivered an innovative, two-building, 250,000-square-foot solution at SouthPark Center on time and within budget. Read more.

Office Depot: Global Headquarters Relocation

Office Depot was considering options to relocate, including potentially outside of Florida. Flagler, in partnership with TIAA-CREF, presented Office Depot with a proposal to design, develop and lease a new global headquarters building a 28-acre site the venture had just acquired. Office Depot selected the Flagler site and agreed to a build-to-suit by Flagler and TIAA-CREF, with a 15-year lease. The 635,000 SF campus consists of three vertical, interconnected, five-story buildings that are linked by glass-enclosed atriums and can accommodate up to 2,500 employees. Read more.

Main Street America Group needed to consolidate their local office division for Old Dominion Insurance Company, while expanding and relocating their corporate headquarters from New Hampshire. Strayer University: Build-to-Suit

Strayer University was searching for a site to house the university’s new South Orlando campus. Strayer wanted a standalone building with a visible location and parking ratio of 8/1,000. Flagler found a solution at its SouthPark Center. One of SouthPark's large, four-story office buildings had more parking space than existing tenants needed. Adjacent to this building was two acres of raw land, which fronted John Young Parkway—a perfect site for a build-to-suit solution.
